Writer's Prompts | The Most Amazing Face... Ever

In the Podcast “The Most Amazing Face… Ever” Tim and LeeAnna explored bold creative concepts for writers, using a sculptural work by Isamu Noguchi as a jumping-off point.

Tim’s challenge for you writers. The prompt is simple: Keep it under 600 words.

Start with the Face to be Seen from Mars. Imagine it's been built, it prompts a global sense of solidarity amongst humans. Your main character sees it for the first time. Write about that.

Or imagine the tomb that I talked about in the podcast and someone visiting it for the first time and seeing reminders of their deceased parents or deceased ancestors perhaps represented somehow within that.

Or maybe write about when another world sees the Face to be Seen from Mars from and then they come to explore it.

Write whatever inspires you—just make sure it’s under 600 words. Pop it over to us through the submissions page. Who knows, maybe we'll even feature it on the podcast. Extra credit if you can include an insane building concept that absolutely couldn’t (or shouldn’t) be built?
